return policy

if you are not 100% satisfied with your dimes, you can easily return them within 30 days of purchase for a $5 fee that is deducted from the refund amount. there is no fee for returns resulting from a fulfillment or manufacturing error on our part. returns must be unworn, in the state you received them, and with its original bits & pieces. returns will be processed within 2-3 weeks of receiving them. please note that items purchased during a sale, from our sale page, or marked ‘final sale’ are not eligible for return or exchange. for inquiries on our return policy or to initiate a return or exchange please visit our contact form and select returns from the dropdown.

before you start your return, here are a few things you need to know.

● only items purchased in the last 30 days are eligible for return

● items purchased on our sale page or during a sitewide sale are not eligible for returns

● items must be unworn (a quick try on is fine of course)

● returns must be sent back within 30 days, of your request

warranty

your glasses include a 1 year warranty against all manufacturing defects and is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

warranty does not cover scratches to the lenses or frame, stretching of the frames due to misuse, accidental damage caused through general use, water damage, or the loss of screws due to neglect.

tracking

dime is working diligently to assure all orders ship in a timely manner. due to increased safety precautions in our warehouse and by shipping providers there may be some delays in shipping.

it can take up to 48 hours for the tracking information to update once you have received the automated tracking email. if there is no status or change on the tracking after 48 hours, please contact us. for tracking inquiries visit our contact form and select tracking from the dropdown.

please allow 24 hours from the time of delivery for your tracking to update. usps can occasionally mark a package delivered before it actually arrives, and can sometimes arrive 1-2 days later.

tracking status shows “delivered” but i don’t have my package

it's our duty to process your order and ship it to you with tracking. if your order has been delivered according to tracking, there is very little in our control. we recommend contacting the shipping agency USPS, UPS, or DHL to locate your shipment.

usps can occasionally mark a package delivered before it actually arrives, and it will show up 1-2 days later. due to delivery backlogs across all carriers, we are requiring a 7-day wait period once tracking shows delivered before we can consider a refund or re-shipment. packages have shown up within 7-days more than 98% of the time in these scenarios.

i haven’t received shipping a confirmation, when will my order ship?

we pack and ship most orders within 24-48 hours of you placing them. our warehouse is open mon-fri and is closed most weekends + nat’l holidays.

you will receive an automated email with tracking information on the evening that your package is shipped.

i put the wrong shipping address on my order

it happens to the best of us! if you accidentally put the wrong shipping address here's what can be done:

if you placed your order within the last 2 hours, we are usually able to make changes before your item is shipped. to request a change/update to your address, please visit our contact form and select address correction from the dropdown. please include your correct address so that we can update it as quickly as possible. note: our offices are open mon-fri from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm pst.

if you already received your tracking information, we ask that you contact the shipping company that currently has your package in order to attempt an address change. once the package has left our facility, we have no way of changing this address and we are unable to contact the shipping company on your behalf for security and privacy reasons.

can i edit or cancel my order once it has been placed?

if you need to update or cancel your order, please contact us immediately. we try to process orders very quickly, and once our warehouse has begun processing your order we can no longer make changes to or cancel the order.

we do not have the ability to add items to your order once it has been placed. please place a new order with the items you want to purchase.

u.s.a. based shipping

u.s.a. domestic orders ship from our kentucky facilities. unless otherwise specified or chosen your order will ship via usps first class or equivalent with tracking included. your order will be processed within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) depending on the time it is placed. we will email you tracking once it has been shipped.

estimated shipping times:

please allow for an additional 2-4 days of delivery time for your order based on current carrier delays

first class or free = 4-9 days

usps priority = 2-5 days

usps express mail = 1-3 days

all shipments include tracking, we will send this to you via email automatically but you can also request it at any time via email or phone. we are not liable for packages that show that they have been delivered but have not been received.

do you offer express shipping?

in the u.s.a. we offer ups express. please note, these services sometimes require a signature upon delivery.

internationally, we offer dhl express. this service varies from 3-10 days depending on location. please account for customs/border delays when ordering. dhl requires a signature upon delivery. you are responsible for all duties and tariffs incurred.
